It was a demo model and came strung with LaBella DTF. I like the tone but may try Nickel rounds at some point. Here’s a few pics. So far...I’m really enjoying this bass!

Thank you! Same here....I had a few things “align” as they may, and it finally worked out! Hope you get yours soon!I too have been wanting one of these for a while. Out of my price range for the foreseeable future though :-/ Congrats on the new bass!
Congrats! I am so jealous!View attachment 3707459 View attachment 3707457 I’ve been wanting a TF fretless for a long time. All the talk about the new LPB model inspired me to go for it. I love the LPB but black is my color.

Here’s a quick video. I’m still learning fretless and have a lot of opportunities to fine tune my intonation. It’s a fun journey.
Thanks Dr. Cheese! It has to be the bass....it seems to play itself with ease. I have dabbled with URB in a Bluegrass band for a while, otherwise...I’m a newbie on Fretless. You do not sound like a fretless newbie at all!

You might wanna consider keeping the flats on. Sounds good
That's him. And also Blue Murder with Carmine Appice and John Sykes.Very cool bass! Pardon my ignorance, but was Tony Franklin the bass player for The Firm with Jimmy Page and Paul Rodgers? If so, you can complete the TF look by growing your hair out about 6in and gelling it straight up in the air! That TF had a very cool playing style. Your solid on that bass too homie!
You're welcome ... thanks and happy Valentine's to you as wellThanks Inara! I saw The Firm in Indy on the tour for their first album. Crap I guess that dates me a bit but it was a phenomenal show & I was floored by Tony Franklin! Looks like we share 2 passions; Bass & Bikes! Thanks again girl, Happy Valentine's!
