WOW that really is a beauty! Love the color combo. Ive actually come to prefer basses with the metal pickup cover because Ive become so used to it on my Carvin SB. I have no problem slapping it as I usually go pretty close to the neck. Nice score!

thanks for the kind words boys, It came with a parchment , and pearl white PG , I played dress-up with it and I think this looked the best ,out of the 3 , My girlfriend thinks it looks cheezy , but you have to be a bass nerd to appreciate beauty sometimes

poly its like a combo of all the 70's era specs , 70's pup spacing ,.22 mf cap, 3 bolt neck ,like the '75 RI ,but it has the early 70's logo and a really fast neck profile , I dont think LPB was ever nitro , or any metallic colors

Just curious, I honestly don't know much about paint. I just know that I like poly more than nitro because I'm not at all a fan of the "road worn" look. I like my finishes to last just about forever without wearing and tearing significantly.

its called lake placid blue , but im pretty sure fender doesnt care to remain consistent with their lake placid blue color , when you look at some they are a darker blue , this isnt green like ocean turquoise either its a lighter lake placid than im used to seeing ,exactly like the avri'62 jazz LPB like this
