It's always interesting to me how lighting & background affect how photos look. The hanging one seems more true to the actual color of things although none of them show the 'sparkle' in the pickguard. The bass is just straight natural finish - no vintage tint. Love the Quickguards - I have another on a clear blue JB2 I've hacked into being an L1K and it has a silver paisley guard on it. I just like pickguards (and control plates).
