That usually indicates a nice neck.Does the neck wear pattern look familiar? Someone played the snot out if it!

This one popped up on Reverb and I made an ooffer on it and I couldn't believe it was accepted! Well played but not abused, weighs a ton, I think it's heavier than my Peavey T40. Great neck, pickup is a bit tame but run through my venerable DOD bi-fet pre amp it sounds really good. I'll get a video up shortly.
Nope, and I have never had a bass with any neck finish wear, even the ones I gigged five nights a week for years. Do some people wear sandpaper gloves when playing?Does the neck wear pattern look familiar? Someone played the snot out if it!
It's heavier than my T40!I bought a brand new Artist burst back when they came out. I saw a preview in GP magazine, and I had to order it and wait for a few months. I couldn’t stand the weight now, but back then it was awesome. It replaced my T40 and I think it was heavier.

Maple is brutal 'cause you have to rake the leaves in the fall. That's a super cool bass! Oh how I wish my Victory had a mahogany body! The maple is brutal!

I have a Q-80 too. I like the playability. I also have an RD Artist, which I like the sound of, it is a heavyweight too. I guess, the Victory Artist is a cross of both. I always wanted a Victory Artist, and Victory MVX guitar too, since 1982. I guess, now it is too late to find ones in nice condition at moderate prices. It seems many investors bought vintage guitars in the last 3 years, hoping to sell them off for a good amount of money. Well, if that is the case, they can keep them. I don't see Gibson reissue them soon, and if so, they won't do it right. I am thinking to build my own Victory/Q-80. I like the look of the Q-80 without the pickguard a bit better, but love the sound of a maple body Victory better. Ah, and cherry sunburst too. Love the ebony board of the Q-80, and 22 frets isThat's a super cool bass! Oh how I wish my Victory had a mahogany body! The maple is brutal!
