NBD Greenish

I’m in the process of whittling my number of basses down to under 3 (preferably 2!). But to do that is taking some rejigging of what i’ve got.

I’ve long been a fan of the older sage green fenders (one of my favorite colors), so when i spotted this 2003 body parts bass i couldn’t resist.

225, came with a hipshot drop d, quarter pounders, and a babicz bridge. The neck is a replacement mighty mite that I expected to replace but now Im not sure, it feels nice and looks good.

i’m not 100% on keeping the high mass bridge but…its pretty nice. And the pickups sound killer.

anyway take a gander and if anyone has thoughts on upgrades, let me know. I think this may unseat my capri orange parts bass. !!

Perhaps it’s just the lighting, but I think that may be (edit) Agave Blue from the same period as Sage Green Metallic. The Agave blue tends to yellow over time, giving it a slightly greenish tinge.

Either way, it looks great!

It is possible, but this is quite green in person. A bit more of a silvery green than teal in person. Definitely moves a bit in the lighting though!

its a bit like the newer mystic surf green.
