Came yesterday. The pics on Rondo are accurate, but I know the rules:
This is my first Hadean Bass. I got it to see what 2 P pups would be like, and when they dropped the price on the white ones to $99, I had no reason to wait any longer. I still haven't replaced the strings, I just tuned it up (the strings were pretty slack) and started playing. Setup was OK, except for the fact that there is some backbow, I'm working on that.
Each pup alone sounded OK, but when I played them together the E and A strings got soft. You guessed it, one of the low side half pups was miswired, turned out it was the bridge one. A few minutes with the multimeter and a screwdriver told me which one it was, and another 5 minutes to resolder, and I was good to go again.
I'll probably have more comments after I get the backbow out and change the strings, but it's definitely worth $99, even if I did have to fix a pup.
