Spent ages looking for a 5-string Fender P-bass in black with a black headstock... apparently that doesn't exist, at the very least I couldn't find one. Then I see this. What a beauty. And a flawless fit and finish. No set-up needed. Thank you HB, you've delivered again

My Warwicks are still my main basses but this is seriously good.

Bought a black pick guard too but tbh the stock one is growing on me.

wow, those are nice..might be looking into these for a J5. Not that i need any more basses, but i could use a 5string....I'm surprised at how reasonably priced they are....Enjoy yours!!

They do look nice. The only thing that bugs me is the pickup. Wouldn't the typical split be BEA and DG? What's the string spacing?

I just took a look at that on the Thomann website and it's only $135 plus shipping. That's unbelievable and one beautiful bass.

Looks great. That Fender seemingly WILL NOT make a 5-String P/J is continually frustrating, when they have all the parts to just DO IT. This looks great for the money, and some day, it would be nice to try one of those. Not in the cards right now, but someday.

I'm using it as a P-bass ( which is what I originally wanted) and it does that well. Sounds like a P-bass, nothing I can add to that really.

I ordered a PB-50 from Thomann and I had it in 4 days. If I recall it shipped to me from somewhere in the US.
