That is too cool, I actually have the guitar version (Hayman 30/30) that looks almost just like your 40/40 bass.
I need to have a small crack by the truss rod slot/neck pocket fixed on mine though. I'll get her back together soon.

Man, every time I see one of these, between the body style and the unique electronics package, I wonder if they're a Wal precursor. Cool bass, must weigh a ton.

There was one listed in the classifieds here in Norway a year back, but I don't know if it sold. A bit high priced, but I had the ad saved. Sent a message now to see if it's still for sale. It's quite beat up and missing the logo at the headstock and the pickup cover, no original case. Thanks for the reminder!
