Long time, no see, Talkbass! I just bought a Marcus Miller sig bass used from Guitar Center, and in true GC fashion, the salesman new nothing about the instrument. All he could tell me was that the previous owner 'changed some stuff,' and I was hoping this wonderful community could help me find out exactly what 'stuff' is new.

Also, what's the difference between the Mexican preamp and the Japanese preamp? Do I plug the bass into the passive input in my amp?
