New Bass Day! Fender Roadworn 60s Jazz Bass made in Mexico 2018 (according to the serial #)

I’m very happy with this purchase considering the price I got it for. Special thanks for a friend who brokered it for me and had it shipped to my nearest L&M. I was worried there was no case for it but apparently the store was kind enough to let me take the HSC it came in.

Fantastic instruments, the whole line of em'! I much prefer the slightly older models without the stacked knobs. I had a 2009 one of these and it was just amazing. I foolishly traded it for a Gretsch hollowbody (can't remember the model). Was smitten with the looks of the Gretsch and it played/sounded great, but about a week later that all wore off and I was pissed at myself.

You do realize that the meaning of highway robbery is that the seller greatly overcharged for the item.

Not a bad deal, if I do say so myself, considering standard MIMs in my city's local used sections are being listed around the same price. I saw a Geddy Lee Jazz for $800 locally but i think I'll be much happier with this RW.

so $600.00 is below average price in the usa.. so that's a good deal in canada

Yes but I considered the fact that a lot of older standard MIMs at this sale were listed at $800-$1000 (some “sale”) sooooo this is a win.

Total sleepers the J and the P bass too. Had both sold both, biggest gear sell regret ever....the P bass was sublime. They have a feel that is hard to describe...just perfect.
