NBD - Holy grail and a half!

The deep blue epoxy resin with the burl is striking. I can’t imagine this being anything but unique. There isnt likely to be another bass that looks anything like this in existence. Truly stunning. Enjoy.

Wow! I wouldn't mind seeing a lot more pictures of this.

I currently own 3 Vigier basses, an Alembic bass, a Suhr custom, an Elrick, a Status Graphite, and a Sadowsky. Each one of them is magnificent in its own right. But there's one bass that rules them all, and it just arrived!

For my 40th (still some time away), I hit up @Skelf ie. Alan Cringean from AC Guitars in Scotland to build me my dream bass. I picked up his Krell shaped, because it seemed a little in line with the music I play...heavy rock. We picked out the top (Acryllic resin treated burl), the body wood (swamp ash), the neck (maple and wenge) and the fretboard (acrylic impregnated maple). These were our choices:

In just around 8 months, Alan came back to me with perhaps the best looking, sounding and balancing bass I've ever played. I still have some ways to go before I'm totally familiar with the dual filter preamp but it's extremely easy to use.

I went for all the works. From the fretboard markers to the luminlay to the matching headstock. The bass just plays itself. Weighing in at 8.6 lbs, it's just perfect in every sense.

All of the hyperbole around ACG is accurate. Alan's work simply is that good.
Beautiful! How similar is the sound to a Wal?

That is absolutely amazing!

But you can't come in here and post 3 pics of that bass and expect us to be satisfied with that. Heck I got a custom build from Kevin Ferner in Memphis and created an album here on TB with a spec sheet, two vids and a ton of completed & build pics.

What do we want?
We want more!

When do want it?
Now!

And don't forget specs
So get busy...
🤣
