Got this Fender jaguar bass on Craigslist for a very good deal! The bass itself is inireally good condition it appears the original pickgaurd is on it it's just painted very thickly over in black, this bass rivals the L2000 it's kind of like it's single coil counterpart. It's surreal to me that this bass and The Rickenbacker were the basses that caught my eye and made me want to play bass, they had such an impact on me and now not only do I have both, they match!

I know where you are coming from. I own a lot of basses but the L2000 and the Jag get the most playing time.

Thanks! That Rick is hands down never ever going to part with material, I think I've only seen 2 other ones like it on the internet. I dont know how many were made but I've seen more of the known rare colors than the red with black binding. I stumbled upon it by accident too after striking out with newer Ricks at Sam Ash, walked into guitar center next door heartbroken I didn't like the neck on the ones I played looked over the basses and on the wall behind me was that Rick! I touched the neck and walked it right over to the register, nice and slim!
