I hear you. Mine’s a 2016 BTB1205 Prestige. Spot on 11 pounds. But USA Barts and Pre which more than makes up for it!

Now that's something special! I was GASing hard for a BTB prestige back in the day, those are sweet!

Yeah Ibanez' Prestige line truly is world class. I was seriously considering one of those (the Soundgear 6 Prestige) when I was shopping around for my ultra top of the line bass (went with Marleaux instead).

I have an SR Premium and I’m so so with it. Nordstrands are great, but the build quality could be better to be honest. But yeah, I bet a ‘proper’ MIJ Prestige is a joy.

My BTB is an oddity, I think: Prestige, but made in Korea rather than Japan. P’raps that’s just “how it was back in the day”!

So, with lockdown in place I finally got around to making proper videos with good audio.

Just a touch of compression from the Boss, straight into the Mesa, and then the sound is the DI of the Mesa:
