NBD Ibanez GWB205!

I've been wanting a Gary Willis Bass since their introduction, but for some reason had not got around getting one. Until now!

Got a sweet deal on "used" GWB205 Natural Flat a couple of days ago.

It appears someone had bought this but actually never really played it. Everything was in mint condition. Protective plastic in place on the control cavity cover, D'Addario strings it shipped with crisp and fresh, the gigbag not a scuff on it.

And it plays like a dream! What an awesome fretless!

Passive Bartolini pickup and active preamp -> simple controls. I like how this instrument is designed.

I bought one when they still came in the nice hard case. It is a lovely bass and plays/sounds terrific.
