NBD: Ibanez RD905ah

Yesterday I bought a used Ibanez RD905ah (2010) for €400, it's in a real good condition. I already own the RD500 (which is my favorite 4-string, such a great instrument) and I always wanted the 5-string model. The RD905 has the Seymour Duncan bassline pups, the pickup setup has many sound options, the humbucker style pup can be switched to single coil. The low B on this bass sounds very clear and punchy, not many basses have such a well sounding low B. All in all a very nice build and sounding instrument, it's a workhorse and a jack-of-all-trades.

(I'll post better pic later on)

Some new and better pics.
I made some adjustments to the nut to lower the action a bit more, this weekend I'm gonna install a ramp like I did on my RD500 and then it's a helluva bass.
The sound is even more muscular then the RD500, incredible high value for the price.

I had no idea that Ibanez made these...!
I wonder why they never got popular; they seem like great players and have my favorite pickup combo...
Interesting that the neck pickup is a non-conventional Jazz without the adjustment ears...very clean.
