NBD! I'm losing my head over this one!

So do you perceive any kind of advantage with the Cazpar body size over the Frog, or did you just want something different?
It is a smaller body than the Frog (10-15%) which I definitely like, as the smaller bodies feel more comfortable to me.

I took a picture (above) with three of my Headless so you can see a comparison in sizes. My own custom build in the middle is smaller than both at only 10.5” tall :)

Although one tradeoff with the Cazpar (if it matters) is that it is a max scale of 32” and typically only 21 frets, which I requested as 24. To me, the 32” scale is negligible since I almost can’t tell a difference between it and my 3 other 34” headless basses. The upper horn on my others come up to the 12th fret so those don’t feel like they’re a full 34” either.

A huge advantage of the headless instruments to begin with is that they balance super well and they just don’t feel as long or uncomfortable as some other 34” basses.

Is it possible to bond with a new bass in the first 5 minutes of playing for the first time? ABSOLUTELY when it is designed “just for you”!

Super happy with this one, it is just as expected… plays amazing, sounds fantastic with a nice aggressive growl, fantastic low B (no dead spots anywhere) and it’s the perfect size as it is a petite version of my headless Maruszczyk Frog.

The Luminlay side dots glow nicely.

Super Nice! I love medium and short scale basses! Especially headless ones! Is the neck more like a P or a J?
