I was never a huge Fender fan until these new ones came out and now my main players are an 08 P-bass and an 09 Jazz. The sunbursts that Fender is putting out now are as beautiful as any boutique brand I've seen. Nice bass!

I upgraded to DiMarzio Ultra Jazz pups, but found them thin, so I went to Quarter Pounders and really love them. I use Chromes and I put a tort guard on it. It also has a Graphtech Tusq nut.

actually, MIM jazz was my primary target, the active deluxe one, upgrade it with emg active or bart, and triying to prove that sadowsky and other high end boutique jazz clone that I can do it better....hehe, (joking roger), but my jazz price is hard to beat, so I jump the gun....
