Finally got some reasonable pictures of my latest bass!
Luthier is Peter Jogo located in State College, PA. This is the 4th bass that i've picked up from him. The first three are P-basses that I had him build to specs. This is the first bass I didnt have him custom build. He just built it to play! Anything is for sale right!? Hes creating its replacement now, with some more intricate features!
Lollar Jazz Pickups. '62 style concentric tone controls. Schaller Roller Bridge. Hipshot Ultralite Tuning Machines. DR Hi-Beam 45-105 Strings. Brass Nut. Single bound body, neck and headstock. Nitro-Cellulose custom color to match the inlays. Hand cut pickguards, one solid white, the other Black and White (pictured). Weighs in at 8lbs and couple ounces. Ill find out more about the woods that were involved in the body and neck. Clearly some nice pieces of Birds Eye and Flame Maple!
Impeccable workmanship from a true artist! Not only an artist, but an excellent player!
