This is my dream bass. 80s or even 90s four-string BTS are very hard to find. Especially in this shape. Every single time I've picked up a Ken Smith it almost plays itself I mean these basses are designed perfectly for my particular playing style at least. Wonderful instruments. Thanks for sharing!

It has been sold over BassChat ... I'm not sure, as the relevant information haven't been disclosed on BassChat, but this may be the bass that Scott Devine has recently started to show on his most recent videos!



Look at the finger-puppet on the E-string tuner ...

The story about the "mortise joint" is the same that OP has told on BassChat replying to questions about it from possible buyers of the instrument, so I'm almost 100% sure that this is the instrument Scott is showcasing in the video

I thought that was Scott Devine’s new bass. It is a real vintage boutique bass.

Yes that's my old bass. I met Scott as he lives nearby and he's over the moon with it. I'm glad he's keeping the frog and bear on the tuners
