NBD - Malinoski Rodeo bass

Very cool! It's like organic meets industrial.

The blue 'cracked' finish is amazing. :hyper:

The finish technique is drizzled paint (as far as I can tell from the progress pics). The whole body is Spanish Cedar, which is a misnomer as it's neither cedar nor Spanish. It belongs to the mahogany family. Pete says it smells really good, for what that's worth:D The grain on the back is really pretty.

The top plate is Ambrosia Maple, or wormy maple as it's commonly known. I like the stripes and speckles in the close up shots.
