So... uh... How does it sound?
In a word, fabulous! The bass has tons of mwah and Pete's mono pole humbucking p'ups are loud and clear with tremendous low end extension. The thing is really commanding in a live mix. I'm not really using the passive piezo transducer that much, but I will incorporate it if I do some live looping in the future.
I'll be borrowing a cam to do a video review this weekend, so stay tuned!
It's clear up to the 21st. "fret." I won't need anything beyond that. I can come around with my hand if I needed to go higher.
If you're interested in a Malinoski, I'm sure Pete would work with you to address any issues you have with the design.
I'm sure he could do an amazing job on anything - his skill is quite evident. I was jus' curious.

Out of curiosity, what was the final price of your new bass? You mentioned in another thread that he was offering a reduced priced at the time you placed your order.
