The body is solid ash, not chambered. My sunburst fretless (see thread link at in my orig post here) is a chambered body but if the body gets too light you end up with neck dive. I've determined that 4 lbs of body weight give or take a few ozs is the right spot. This BM body was 4 lbs 1 oz so right at target weight.

The frets are 6150 nickel frets.

Did you do the finish? Looks great! Burgundy Mist is hard to do well and photograh well!

I'm a fan of that gig bag for short scales.
I have the electric guitar double bag, single bag, double electric bass bag, and single bass Gator Pro bags. Very nice. They fit a mustang bass well too!

Congrats on the new bass and the other parts shuffles! It's a nice way to try something - especially with what ou already have!

Part swapping (mod, mod, mod) - A picture story.

I've done some parts swapping recently and have come up with a more-or-less new bass, so time for NBD.

I took a chance on a Burgundy Mist (BM) body and ended up falling in love with the color. It plays and sounds great. My wife says it is my forever bass and I agree with her.
