I'm not sure. Maruszczyk / Mensinger just list it as "Standard Bridge"

I must apologize - I've discovered that the bridge on this bass adjusts differently than any I've ever seen before, and while it appeared that the saddles were bottomed out, this was due to my ignorance. There is plenty of room for adjustment, and I'm truly sorry for this misinformation!

It was impossible to see such a defect in such a bass eh ..

That's why asked for photos of the bridge, Adrian plays with super low action, especially on the fretless. He checks every bass, too. It could happen, but he probably would have caught a problem like that right away.

I googled that, and I think you're right. My confusion was that 1. My eyesight is getting worse by the day, it seems, and 2. With the black hardware, I couldn't see that the saddle and the base it fits into aren't one solid piece. So when I saw that the bases were all touching the bridge, it looked like there was no room left for adjustment. Sigh. I wish I had been more observant from the beginning.

Be careful when changing strings, the saddles come off and it's a pain to find them.
