let's face it, you can't get any more boring than a P bass in grandpa burst and tort.
got this 2020 AM PRO II in mint condition today. still got the plastic on the ol' pickguard, with a JAZZ bass sticker
. it's hardly been played!
a hat-trick of firsts for me:
• first US fender bass
• first P Bass
• first maple fretboard
weighs in at 8.6Ibs and balances really well.
need to put some TI flats on it and set it up to my liking, but it sounds and plays great just how it came.
this will probably be my last bass (i know, i know) and i was pleased to snag it for a good price. US fenders have gone through the roof in the EU and even used ones seem to be holding their value.
there can't be many 60-year-old bass players who have gone so long before owning a P Bass!
