NBD: Music Man Classic Stingray 5

New bass day. Classic Stingray 5. Coral red. Tortoise shell pickguard. Birdseye maple fretboard.

The local Guitar Center was clearing this out at $500 off. This is the second EBMM bass I have owned - had a pearl blue Stingray 4 H 3EQ a couple of years ago. This is a much nicer instrument, more fun to play. Love the birdseye maple neck/fretboard and hard finish on the neck - a huge upgrade (to me) over the oil/wax finished plain maple on my previous Stingray.

I have an Aguilar TH350 and DB112NT on the way. Can't wait to hear that setup with this bass.

I just got one of these yesterday. I absolutely love it -- It is a phenomenal bass. I somehow lucked out and got a nice light weight one.

I actually wanted that color combo that you have but they were back ordered. Ended up with black instead. Can't really go wrong with black!
