32" Yamaha SG style 3-pickup 8-string bass

Got it from South Korean company Clip Guitars (Duduri Custom)

Took me 8 months and about 2-3 grands, fully satisfied with the build

This partially slotted headstock was what I wanted so bad
The master was worried about the structure but I made it happen lol

It works!

Wenge-maple laminated through-neck construction got me very low string action possible

That 'd' shaped cavity was another feature I strongly badged about
I thought it would make the 3-pickup wiring really comfortable

And it works!

Badass III made it!

Now I KNOW that those named makers got decent reasons for being popular

And those Epiphone probuckers are as badass as the Badass
Man I won't spend no more than 100 for a thunderbird pickup

Richlite fingerboard was way better than I thought

Stewmac gold frets are on it, and the master told me that it was so easy to work he thought it was kinda nickel fret

Love it!

Now I understand what it feels like to say I could die happy tomorrow

Damn I got 12 basses now and 5 among them are SG basses
Sick

Wow, gorgeous build! Weight? Love wenge, super rigid but heavy? One or two truss rods? Inquiring Minds….

Very very heavy actually

I kinda don't mind about weight
I play warwick thumb which is around 5kg for hours

But this one man is noticably heavy I don't know the actual weight but I'm quite sure it's over 5kg

Neck is super rigid
It has one trussrod with two graphite bar reinforcement

How is the balance with a strap on it? Does it neck dive at all?
It doesn't neck dive both with seated and strapped

Headmachines are quite light (hipshot and grover) and the body is heavy af so the balance by itself is okay, and now the balance is not the main problem lol

But got no regret
Those mahogany wings under open pore satin finish is bloody sexy
