Thanks. I'm making a 70s style p bass like my beloved 73 p bass.
i dunno what it is, but i can tell it's not warmoth. i'm not a fan of the wood grain on it but they did do a really good job of capturing that 70's burst. you goin with an all maple neck?
Yeah I have an all maple Might Mite neck one of my basses that's at my friend's house in CT. I'm going there next week to pick it up. I have friends and family in CT so I usually leave a bass there for jamming.
Looks like I'll be selling a Squier Vintage Modified P bass body.
Looks like 3pc Alder body to me... but I can (obviously) be wrong.

The neck pocket looks like a modified route job, better check dimensions for your desired neck. That looks like it might have been widened for a Jazz neck. Nice looking burst.
The neck pocket is exactly 2 1/2" wide and 9 16ths deep. The heel shape is a little wacky. It reminds me of some of the MIM neck pocket routes.
You should be golden then, good luck with it. Please post photos of the finished bass!
