NBD: New Ric 4003 restores my trifecta!

Well, I got another Ric and now I have the classic P, J, and 4003 trifecta again.


Kind of curious how many of you guys also have the combo of bass greatness?

I wanted to have a Rick so badly. They are by far the best looking bass to me, and they sound great too. It's just the other issues that go along with owning one that kept me from keeping it. They look so awesome though.

I have the trifecta, but with Squier P & J's & a 4001 Rick.

I like the P/J/Ric trifecta. I also like the Leo trifecta.

I'm gunning for the superfecta. I have:

• P: MIJ Fender Classic 70s P with Original P pups.
• J: MIA Fender Geddy, MIA G&L SB-2, MIA G&L L2K with K-Mod and Jazz Neck
• Ray: I have a G&L Tribute Kiloton in the Ray slot, no plans for a MM.

Ric: 4003s is at the top of the want list(not the need list). I believe I'll have one this year but I'll be taking my time.

I have the same basses!! P, J, Ric and Stingray!!! To me, the best lineup I ever had!! Although I had a Gibson Thunderbird bicentennial too up until recently, I sold it cause I found not as easy to play as others, just a preference.

Yeah, a Ray and a T Bird are going to be what I focus on next...would rather have an Explorer or V over a T Bird though...huge fan of Explorers. Gave up looking for a nice one used.

I have the Trifecta, but the "P" is a G&L L2k, and the Jazz is a fretless. Truth be told, the only one play much is the Ric.

The only complaint is the noise coming out of my new Ric, although it depends where I am located in the room. Do you guys find it very noisy ?
