Well I just got a new ... well older bass today.
Warwick Fortress One
Goodly! Those are great basses. I've got a '95 five-string version with a honey violin finish.
NICE..... I've always liked the Fortress shape. I'd love to find a lefty 4.
Congrats on a rad axe.....
Nice grab. How much did she cost you?
Sweet bass. One of the best designs Warwick ever had! I wish they would bring it back. The only way to get a new one is to go with their RockBass line.
I got her in a trade, I guess total value of the stuff I traded would be about $800, but it was all stuff that I didn't use anymore and just took up room.
EXCELLENT bass. I used to have one in gloss black. Couldn't justify keeping that AND my Fortress Flashback, but one of these days I will get me a Masterman, dnag I like the Fortress look and those 90s Warwicks are SO nicely constructed...
Nice bass man. I really dig the Fortress body style.
WHY did they discontinue this in the German line?
Only thing I could think of is to drive up interest twords the Corvette style.... but you would think that once they came out with it in the Rockbass line they'd come back out with it in the German line. Oh well.
I used own a Fortress One 5 and was probably one of the most comfortable WW I`ve ever owned. Mine was passive so didn`t have output enough as other active WW, but was a terrific bass with a great recorded tone.
was that the one on the killeen craigslist last week. looks cool
Actually the guy had it on quite a number of craigslists.
