Last week I received the bass from Luthier Access Group up here in Chicago. Thus, I have been able to play this instrument for about a week. I thought it might have been difficult to go from a five to six but I have not found this to be the case with this instrument. The playability is really great. I realize that the design might not appeal to some TB'ers out there but I think that it is really elegant and the craftsmanship is unparalleled. Well, how does it sound? It sounds fantastic! The bass comes with two Delano Xtender pickups. Thus, the instrument can go from active/passive as well as split/dual coil. The instrument is also built with a John East preamp.
