I used to use TI flats on my Jazz. Loved em. I now have DR Highbeams (roundwounds) on the fretless P. Love em.

Anything by DR is my go-to for rounds…Sunbeams, lo-rider nickels, pure blues

Oh, that’s gonna be nice going through that elf rig!

actually, this elf rig is what I use for a small jazz gig on upright … I had brought along these other two basses coming from a different gig beforehand so our drummer snapped the pic when I showed them off to him after our gig….… I typically use a little bit bigger Aguilar Tone Hammer 700 rig with SL112 or SL212 when I play electric. I have used the elf before for real small gigs on electric, but I find it’s a little bit lacking… It seems to be just enough though for upright in a small room.
