hhh, I'm moving from 4 to 5 which is why I picked this up in the first place. I've never been interested in playing a 5 until I bought "the Mule" which is a 5'er and I wondered why it took me almost 35 years to play a 5'er.

This is "The Mule", also a nice looking and playing 5 String bass.

The Mule is made by Dean Zelinsky Private label. He has not made any for years.

I like TI flats and DR Pure Blues rounds. My Fodera E5S has rounds made by Fodera, but recently Fodera announced DR is making their new strings, so go figure! Newtone strings are also on my radar.

Normalize not commenting on the number of strings a bass you will never play has. It has the number of strings the owner wanted it to have…
