This has been on top of my wishlist for years, and a few weeks back I stumbled across a B-stock at Thomann for 20% off, so I jumped on it. The package got lost for a week, but finally showed up yesterday.

It's awesome. I love the sparkle! So far I've only tried it with my Boss Waza Air, but man this bass packs a punch! Super loud in any pickup position, perfect to drive tubes the way I like it.

There were no finish blemishes or anything that would explain the price drop, but as I was playing I noticed the sound from the E and A strings was significantly lower than the D and G. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the blades on the two top P-halves were somewhat pushed into the pickup casing.

Some fret buzz when lowering the strings to where I want them, but I'm sure that will change when it's set up properly. I've reached out to Thomann about repair/return/rebate, so we'll see what they say. I'd rather keep it and get it fixed locally than return it (I'm in Norway).

For now I'm just loving it. And Thomann has the best customer service I've ever experienced from such a big company, so I'm sure they'll find a very acceptable solution.

On my wish list too. One of my favorite bassists of all time.

It might be worth checking if the pickup just needs some foam underneath to push it fully up to meet the cover. Even if they agree to take it in to fix it, it's not worth sending it through the mail two more times if that's the problem. Plus, I bet that's why it was listed as a B stock to begin with.

Regardless, that looks like an awesome Reverend! Enjoy it!
