So after 40 years of playing I finally bought a Rickenbacker about 6 months ago. Matt Black like new 4003. I wasn't sure I would love it but had always been curious so when I saw a good deal I jumped on it. Well It has been my main gigging bass since then, so when I saw this one.....couldn't resist.

What year is this beauty? Mine is a 2012 and it's in immaculate condition. Honestly, the black trim made me hesitate all of 15 minutes, a nod from wifey and I hit BIN. Thankfully it sounds like it looks. Yours is only the second I've seen with body binding besides mine. Last Ruby I saw didn't have it.

2013. The black one I have is I think a 2019 with the newer bridge. I didn't really have any trouble getting this one set up though.
