I am officially a Schecter Fanboi. Six months ago, I had no Schecters --- I now own three Schecters...it started with the white CV4 and I was totally impressed with it that it came home. Then I found an older Raiden Elite 4 in a Pawn Shop (for less than <$200 !!) and it proved to be wonderful and one of my favorite playing instruments (I even did a review of it on my YT channel - just hit the YT link in my sig)...I wanted to add a Passive 5 String to my arsenal that was totally flexible with Swiss Army capabilities and can dial out many tones similar to a G&L but without batteries...and I came across this Omen Elite and GC.......Ill definitely review it on my YT. asap...even though Im mostly a Top 40/ variety/ lite jazz player, this bass seems that it is made for heavier styles in both looks and sound but the J-Bucker pickups' Parallel/ Split/ Series option actually shapes a wide array of versatility into it to make it a solid variety bass with multiple genres (including one setting that almost sounds like a Jazz bass).....string spacing is a little narrower than a typical 5, obviously designed as a shredder neck for speed finger or pick playing.

Played your Omen 5 at GC...great for the money. I know the Schecter feeling. Bought a new Stiletto Studio 5 from MF near the end of last year, then a used one via GC a few months ago, and another new one from MF recently. They hit WAY above their price range, especially used.
