It's here! Pics don't do it justice, it's beautiful! The rolled neck edges feel wonderful right out of the box! My own pcs and clips once I get a chance to play it a bit.
Here's how she sounds. I'd heard some reviewers found the pickup lacking bass oompfh, but it sounds pretty good to me....
Nope, just aggressive finger picking using just a bit of nail for "bite". The strings are really fresh too. I'm not normally a fan of XLs, but they sound pretty good on this for now.
OK, no surprise here, I'm probably the biggest Sire fanboi on here, but this is SWEET! I'm loving the neck especially fretwork seems perfect. The rolled edges are really nice, a touch more subtle than on my US Reverends, but enough to really feel it.

I'm even liking the pickup, though there's quite a bit of treble zing, I think that's as much the new XLs as anything. We'll see, but so far, seems like it's got enough "balls" for me.
I've been playing my Squier 50's precision a fair amount lately. That pickup and location is probably my favorite rendition of the precision. Yours looks great!
Yeah, they've got the XL's colored ball ends. Doesn't quite show in any of the pics though.
