The CV's are really nice basses for not a lot of money, and are a great platform for modding if you're into that kind of thing.

Dig the HOG sign. I grew up in the neighborhood and always stop by when I'm back in Roch. As a matter of fact, my avatar is a pic I snapped there years ago – your CV might have come out of that same case!

Love these basses...Mine is a 1 off by Squier. Called them and they said it was a trial of the flame top...I put a Leo Quan II on mine and SD spb-1...fantastic player and tones...

I have one of these necks on an otherwise all fender build. I originally got it because I love the black block inlays and vintage orangey tint and it was super cheap. But I was pleasantly surprised by the neck profile — it’s a bit shallower/flatter front to back than my MIM P neck which up til now was one of the best feeling necks to me.

Bonus is I get a kick out of “Squierizing” a Fender.
