NBD Squier CV 70s P Bass. Craigslist score!

Have been lamenting getting rid of my Matt Freeman Precision, especially now that they are discontinued.
Well, I found the next best thing. Squier Classic Vibe 70s Precision.
The guy I bought it from, ordered it online from GC about a year and a half ago. Apparently, he really isn't much of a player, so he was selling this and a newer model Peavey amp as a package deal on Craigslist. It had been on there for a little bit. I didn't need the amp, but he sold me the bass for $225.00. Came with a nice Fender braided cord, and a stand.
Let me tell you, this bass, a 2016 model, is like absolute brand new. Not a scratch or mark on it, just a layer of dust. Cleaned it up, put some new strings on, and this baby is ready to go. Absolutely thrilled with this deal. Sounds and plays just great. Gonna hold off on saying I like it better than my new Player Precision,.. but we shall see! :D:hyper:

As has been said numerous times, the quality of these Classic Vibe instruments is just insanely good.
Shame Fender is slowly killing this line. :banghead: :rollno: cv70 (1).jpg cv70 (2).jpg I don't know if this model is technically discontinued or not, but Fender only shows the early 50s CV on their site. However, GC is showing these in stock, and Musician's Friend and Sweetwater are showing more on the way.... I dunno.
