hello, today i got a steve bailey signature from ups

i must say, it is quite awesome , and I highly recommend them

I hear they are discontinued and quite rare... is that true???

any info on them would be welcomed

the picture is a 5 strings, i just got the exact same one in six string

Or did he go with Aria, they discontinued it, and now he's with Fender?

SB was with Aria for many years, with in the last 2-3 years or so, he aligned with Fender to create the Fender SB model, which is offered as fretted and fretless and I think only 2 finishes. Not sure if Aria is still allowed to still call it the Steve Bailey model or not. You might want to ask him on these forums. I think he is a member.

I had this Aria. Nice sound, but it was very heavy, so I sold it. The new Fender model is also very cook, I would say even better than the Aria.

I really like the new Fender SB model as well, but the fretted version.
