NBD: The Glorious Day has Finally Arrived!!

It’s been a number of years since I saw Hagar Ben Ari playing this Elrick NJS 4-string on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Fast forward a year or so and Daric Bennett is playing one too.

I could never find one in translucent white, so I just waited. Then last month, this showed up on the Elrick website and it is exactly what I’ve been dreaming of. So I quickly sold one of my other basses and brought this beauty home as fast as I could.

Upon first inspection all I can say is, Rob Elrick knows how to build a bass. The model is the Elrick Standard Series Handmade NJS and it is spectacular. The action is perfect... I mean, PERFECT. The neck feels amazing. Oh, and did I mention it's only 8lb??? Just... wow!

I believe this will quickly becomes my new #1. Yay!!

Haha... I know, right? A lot of my basses have had 5 knobs, but in a row, they look like a lot!
