NBD tomorrow: Ibanez Artcore AFBV200A

I’m going to pick up an Ibanez Artcore AFBV200A tomorrow. Tried it out a while back and fell in love! Any tips on these? Oh, and what strings do you love on this bass? I’m thinking about getting flats for it at some point...

The first thing you'll want to do is change out the pots. There are a few threads on here about changing the pots to improve the sound & operation of the treble cut (tones) pot.

That's the newer one right? They still have the useless tone pot problem?

Yes, this is the newer model with the distressed finish, 2 pickups, and the floating bridge.

I love mine -- it's older -- and I've had no pot problems at all.
