This one has come together after a couple delays. I got the Nordstrand Polyvox 4 pickups a while back here in the TB Classifieds. I ordered two Luisthand NFP Single preamps, and a Klos fretless graphite neck.

I was looking for a body for a while and found this one (unfinished) on eBay. I had it finished by a luthier that I've used for a while, who I've always considered solid, but I didn't know what to expect since the quote he gave me was so reasonable.

When the Klos neck was delayed, I decided to shuffle some necks so I wouldn't have to wait even longer.

I'm beyond pleased with this bass, and may wind up with another body to put the Klos neck on when it' arrives.

Do you use both jack sockets? At the same time? Also - fantastic finish on the body, very classy!
Yes. I've got a few different ways to amplify my stereo basses. My favorite is to use my Eden WT300 and a pedal preamp. One output from the bass goes to the input on the Eden, and the other to the outboard preamp. The preamp out goes to the Aux In on the Eden. This setup gives tons of control over the sound of each pickup, and the ability to blend precisely that doesn't always exist without individual outputs.

Looks a lot like the bass I am accumulating parts for. I just need pickups and electronics. Not sure which multicoils and preamp yet. Probably Turner or Weldang pickups, with an Underhill pre.
Now that I've got a taste of multi coil pups, I think I'll be going full on with Turners and the Luisthand NFP Special for the next one.
