That's beautiful!I did add a tone pot to mine, VVT + T/B stack, A/P and Series/Parallel switches.

The Delano is a great pickup.I often think about adding a P to my MM, but I would like the pickups to match. I wrote to SD’s custom shop and asked if they can make a symmetrical P with large pole pieces to match the SMB5-D ceramic MM pickup I have.
They said “No, because the pole pieces won’t leave enough room for the windings”. They suggested I glut get a QP P.
I never wrote back to say, “Yeah, but Delano has exactly what I’m looking for, I’d like SD to make one”, but I just left it alone.
If I ever do decide, it’ll most likely be the Delano PMVC5-FE…
I’m note sure if I’ll go so far as to switch out the MM to a Delano, though…it would be quite an expensive modification. When I think about the cost, I might just leave it as-is…lol
I imagine you have the Carvin pickup wired in Series to match the output of the QP?View attachment 7494064
Here's one of my other Warmoth builds with a SD QP p and Carvin MM wired vol/vol. They don't sound great together at equal levels but do sound great with one full up and the other just barely on. Honestly a preamp would probably make a big improvement.
I LOVE this wow!I did add a tone pot to mine, VVT + T/B stack, A/P and Series/Parallel switches.
