thanks everybody! I love it. very sleek and elegant to play. the low action is inspiring too. I really love rounds, so yes it will get marks but I am ok with that. I also have a set of tapes I may throw on every now and again depending on what I need. they sound heavenly on there as well.

That's the coolest thing I've ever seen. And I've seen alot of cool stuff. My lady is a photographer and the first thing she noticed when I showed her the pics was the reflection of the tree in the third shot. Nice!!

I do believe that is the original nut. from 1995 the nuts that have come with all my atks are plastic.

an update. after playing it for a week now, with the rounds, I am convinced not much damage is going to be done on it. there are barely any marks from the winds. Ive been using a cellist's vibrato, so the rounds are staying on. It really sings too. I have the action down super low, and I might raise it back up some. I want mwah, but I want to control the amount of clack I get as well. right now there is too much mwah, but it does sound good Its very comfortable and smooth to play though, and my intonation is getting better.

That looks incredible man. Just one question - from memory that headstock would have originally had a plain maple face. How was the person that refinished able to keep the Ibanez logo? Sorry if thats a dumb question!
