After stumbling upon that video I had a huge GAS attack


Missed a few oppotunities to get one cheap (but beaten) so finally settled for a shop used one that had been checked and set up by a proper store, 26 000 JPY (250 dollars) with 2 gig bag and 2 string set.

The bass is a bit beaten but plays very well and sound awesome, my first P (other are Am Std Jaguar, Big Al SSS and a Rick 4003) so really enjoy this and no worries about carrying it around.

The shop said it was made late 70s so I will make it 1979 to be my birthyear bass!

Ha! I had to settle for a birth year truck. Basses from '69 are a LOT more expensive!

I'm looking for one of these right now but all of them online are 500 and it sounds like everyone else in the world paid 200 - 250 for theirs but I want one yesterday! My dream bass is a real Fender 70's P bass so this is the next best thing and honestly it's a better option, not having to worry about it's welfare as much.

Not worth the 500 USD i believe, I like mine and I believe at the time of their release they were a better choice than a fender counterparts.

Now I feel on mine the pups are a little weak and it would probably need a set up to have a lower action and better playability.

It's the bass I keep at the office to practice at lunch time. I've seen a couple on sale here in Japan but count an extra 100 usd for shipping
