I just got my new, well new to me, Greg Curbow 5 string bass, ive had 2 in the past a fretless that sold as I didnt used it and one the same color that I just got, had to sold due to wrist problems, spacing and broad neck was a factor that pushed me to sell her, now I got this one and im amazed how it olay
thanks, I like the sperzel, solid made, the locking mechanism its great, I love the f fact that I dont have to wrap the string with so many turn and stays on tune with no problem
I remember when I was a young lad in Kansas City we had a shop that carried Curbow basses back in the early/mid 90's. Greg Curbow himself would come in every now and then and he was always a great guy to talk with. There were some sweet basses of his on those walls and they always played and sounded great! Good score!
