I feel like a small child at Christmas. Plays beautifully, feels like a dream. Passive is dreamy, active is BIG! The shop had only unpacked it today. I let the seller have a little go on it before he watched it walk out the door.

I did try an elite with the same configuration which was amazing but it was also white... Not my style. So I went au natural. That’s beautiful. Fender has improved upon the Elites with these Ultra’s IMO.
+1I wish they made this in a 5 string!
I'm surprised they don't. I was happy to have the four string because I needed something lighter than my Spector to practice on. Not sure I'll be picking up the Spector as much now. The new bridge gives it a very grown up feel but adds little to the overall weight.I wish they made this in a 5 string!
I really like these basses. But honestly, the bridge is the first thing I’d replace. Just a big heavy eyesore IMO. I have 9 P basses. All have the old threaded saddle bent plate bridges and all sustain just fine.I'm surprised they don't. I agree. I’ve had a number of P and J basses that I put vintage-style KTS titanium bridges on. They looked amazing and sustained like crazy.I really like these basses.
