Congrats on your purchase! Squire is making some very nice instruments these days. Sunburst and Tort are always a winner.
i'm with @NikkiVibes (and squier!): that ax has the classy/classic look! good on ya for the mod/upgrade and for fixing the frets, too, but most of all: congratulations on your new instrument! 
Nice bass; I feel bad for you Leftys out there; they (manufacturers) should really make a lot more models for you
Thank you! First time with the fret sprout, but surprisingly easy... I am very confident with a file, been a Carpenter for a least 30 years.
