I've been a Hofner fan since I first heard the Beatles at age 11 in '64. However, not a big fan of the "color" (red, green, black, white, etc) but decided to add one to my collection.

However, I chose to customize this Pearl white Hofner by turning it into a tribute to Macca's "Ebony and Ivory."

I added a black pic guard, black control panel with white switches and black tea cup knobs, a new bone nut, and black strap buttons.

Thanks. This is their entry level, made in China, Ignition series. But they also make it as a custom build Gold Label. I like mine better!

Nice! I love those white Ignition basses...I will get one at some point. I actually prefer the pearl, but the black looks pretty spectacular as well.
