Just picked up this Deusenberg. New flats coming tomorrow. Now, to find a case or nice bag. Appreciate the info!

Man, that's a 'Duesie'! :drool::drool:

Never warmed up to 'Beatle' basses, because of the control plate on the front always looking like an old car radio smacked on the front of the bass.:woot: Just my opinion...no offense intended to anyone or any bass.

This control arrangement makes it look great!:thumbsup:

Nice. Looks like the same pickups as my Starplayer so I know it sounds great. Duesenberg makes great instruments.
I saw Curt Smith playing a hollow body single cutaway Duesy that looked like a Starplayer with 2 holes. GAS.

Thanks for all of the feedback! It sounds great—especially with flats in it. It’s V/V/T, all hollow. With the tone rolled off it is soft, and warm. I think the neck pickup is a little microphonic, but doesn’t seem to impact the tone or playability.
The were discontinued in 2017 or 2013, so no cases left. Took it to a rehearsal this afternoon, and it killed!!!
